Intermediate (Level 2)

Students ages 8-17 will continue learning the exciting game of golf through more advanced skills and basic golf course etiquette and rules. Students will understand how to apply golf skills on the golf course for the first time.

After 10 weeks, students will complete a progress report to evaluate their performance in the class and determine if they will be ready to move to the Playing Level.

  • New Swings: Bunker Shots, Flop Shots

  • New Fundamentals: Swing Path, Aim and Alignment, Clubface, Club Selection, Yardage Control, Weight Shift

  • The Values: Respect, Courtesy, Sportsmanship, Honesty, Perseverance, and more!

We use an incremental approach to learn the major skills in golf, studying smaller swings (putting and chipping) before the longer swings (half/full swing), and understanding the differences between them. Unlike the beginner level, students will learn the underlying fundamentals behind all the major golf swings, as well as learn several new swings. Students will be introduced to the USGA Rules of Golf through interactive demonstrations and weekly quizzes. Golf course etiquette will be studied extensively so students can conduct themselves on the golf course.

Equipment is provided, though we suggest purchasing US Kids golf clubs for students.

Class size is limited to 16 and run for 60 minutes weekly.
