Gator Junior Golf Administration
Sean Warner, President
Sean is the founding member of the Gator Junior Golf Association, beginning in March 2016. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Masters of Accounting degree. He has taught junior golf for over five years, and has extensive competitive experience. Originally from enemy territory in Athens, GA, Gator fans need not worry. Sean is a lifelong Gator, and loves cheering on the Orange and Blue every fall in The Swamp.
John Stevens, Chairman of the Board
Lead Instructor: Pee-Wee, Beginner
John Stevens is a staple in the Gainesville community. With six decades of experience in golf instruction, Stevens has taught hundreds of children and adults of all skill levels. He has a degree in chemical engineering, computer science, and is a venture capitalist and strategic investor in Gainesville. He has taught numerous courses in physics, engineering, and chemistry at multiple institutions in several states, and currently is a director at the Quarterback Club at UF.
Max Meier, Director of Operations, Junior Golf Coordinator
Beginner and Intermediate Coordinator
Max studied Informations Systems at the University of Florida. He has been playing golf for nearly ten years and served as the Junior Golf Coordinator for the Junior Golf Foundation of America in Palm Beach, FL from 2015-2017. He also served as Director of Operations for Golf Professional Services in West Palm Beach, FL, where he worked extensively with PGA professionals with decades of experience. He worked under Donna H. White, a UF Hall of Fame Gator golfer and award-winning LPGA professional.
