Students ages 5-7 will be introduced to the game of golf through fun games and activities. Students will learn the basics of putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing with a focus on core life skills.
The Swings: Putting, Chipping, Pitching, Full Swing (Irons and Driving)
The Fundamentals: Grip, Aim, Stance, Posture (GASP); Distance and Direction (2Ds)
The Values: Respect, Courtesy, Sportsmanship, Honesty, Perseverance, and more!
We use an incremental approach to learn the major skills in golf, studying smaller swings (putting and chipping) before the longer swings (half/full swing), and understanding the differences between them. Following our weekly lesson, we apply skills with fun games and competitions.
Equipment is provided, though we suggest purchasing US Kids golf clubs for students.
Class size is limited to 16 and run for 45 minutes weekly.
Instructors (Summer 2019):
Saturday- David Steinfeldt
Sunday- John Stevens
