A Play Day is where our students play a round of golf out on the course with a few of our coaches and volunteers. The students will be paired into groups and play alongside our coaches. This allows for personal instruction, while also allowing the students to play alongside with individuals their own age.
When are the Play Days?
These Play Days will take place during the second half of the golf season, and they will be separate from regularly scheduled class. Each Play Day signup is typically announced via email a few days in advance.
How do I signup for a Play Day?
We will send you an email announcing the next Play Day with a signup link. You will fill out a simple form to secure your child's Play Day spot. Please note, Play Days are first come-first serve, and they are limited to a maximum of 15 students per Play Day.
How much does a Play Day cost?
There is *no cost* for the Play Day for currently registered students only.
When should I be there?
Your child must be present 15 minutes prior to the start time.
How long does a Play Day last?
A Play Day lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours.
What time will the Play Day finish?
Golf times are very unpredictable, so please keep this in mind. Our goal will be to have everyone off the golf course by 6:00pm. The coaches will be instructed to walk the kids in around 5:30pm or at dark, whichever comes first. If the Play Day is earlier in the day, then please see the specified email for details.
Where do I go?
We will gather everyone at the putting green. If you are ever unsure of where to go, the pro shop in the main clubhouse building is your best resource.
What should my child bring?
Please bring your child's golf clubs. Water bottles, snacks, sunscreen, golf shoes or athletic shoes, hat, umbrella and other things in case it rains. Plastic bag for electronics in case of rain. BRING PLENTY OF GOLF BALLS (~15).
What should my child wear?
Please have your child wear a plain single-colored shirt (no graphics) or a collared shirt per golf course dress code policy.
Will the kids be walking or riding in a cart?
Students are required to walk the golf course. Only Coaches or parents are permitted to ride in a cart.
Can parents come, too?
Parents are encouraged to walk with the kids. Carts are available for a fee. Please visit the pro shop to purchase a golf cart rental.
