Juliette Falls: Coming Spring 2021

We at Gator Junior Golf take tremendous pride in our “Grow the Game” initiative, and all the young lives it has impacted. Our longstanding commitment to providing local youth with more access and affordability to experience the game of golf has created countless memories, established lifelong friendships, and instilled valuable life lessons in our students.

Founded from humble beginnings, we at Gator Junior Golf have been seeking opportunities to expand and reach more and more kids and families ever since. This past Fall season garnered our biggest numbers yet, and despite large adjustments in light of the pandemic, it was a tremendous success. However, success does not build on itself, but is rather the result of continuous hard work and progress.

This is why Gator Junior Golf is excited to announce a new partnership with Juliette Falls Golf Club. The expansion will bring two Sunday classes to Juliette Falls beginning in Spring 2021: a 1:30-2:15 p.m. Pee-Wee class followed by a 2:30-3:30 p.m. Beginner class. Both will be taught by Lon Kinney, PGA, who is now the third PGA professional currently on staff with our program.

Located in Dunnellon, just under an hour southwest from our Gainesville base, Juliette Falls consistently ranks among the top courses across the state. Open to the public in 2007, the course sprawls over 500-plus acres of atypical Florida topography, with changes in elevation and hazards at every turn.

The partnership is the first step to expanding into neighboring Marion County, and we could not be more thrilled to work with Juliette Falls over the coming seasons. It is the first junior golf program they have ever had and the staff – including Manager Caylyn Milam – could not be more welcoming.

Though this year has been filled with obstacles and unpredictability, here at Gator Junior Golf the goal remains the same: to grow the game of golf as much as our resources allow us to. Our partnership with Juliette Falls gives us the opportunity to do just that, and Spring 2021 could not come any sooner!
